Claire Uwababyeyi

Lead Teacher, Preschool

Claire Uwababyeyi is a preschool teacher who had been certified as a dental assistant, and hairdresser. Claire has been a shining star for Rise Up Academy since starting as an Aide in 2018 and is now the Lead Teacher for the Preschool Class. She is driven by the goal of using her natural talent for teaching to make a difference in the lives of her students. She is so passionate and excited about teaching that at times she finds her kids mimicking her. She also gets excited about videotaping her students and tracking their progress. She also brings tremendous creativity and organization to her classroom and the school. Claire is currently taking Early Childhood Education classes at Everett Community College, pursuing her Certificate in Early Childhood Education, then she plans to continue to obtain her ECE Associate. Her favorite place to travel is in Africa (Dubai, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia). During her free time, she enjoys singing and using her creativity by organizing and showcasing her love for interior design.
